Explosion in "The Gathering"

The Minbari assassin was wired to explode. When that happened it was throwing the station off axis. If the station hadn't been brought back on axis what would have happened?

Re: Explosion in "The Gathering"

I think it would have destroyed the mechanism that kept it spinning and caused sever damage.

Re: Explosion in "The Gathering"

The controlled rotation would have become a wild, uncontrolled rotation. The station moving in directions it was not designed for would have caused shearing force on structural sections and possibly destroy them, one after another. Would have been ugly. Londo might have spilled his drinks!
