Hiya,

Does anyone remember the Babylon 5 Customizable Card Game? It was made by the now defunct Precedence and I had some great friends when I lived down in New Orleans (during the initial B5 run) who all got together and used to play it for hours on end (we once had a 5 player game; Earthforce, Minbari, Narn, Centauri and Psi Corps; that lasted for 8 hours...no joke!)

Anyway, with the release of the DVDs, I've been trying to get some of my friends here in SC to start watching and consequently playing the game. Does anybody still have any cards that their willing to part with? I don't need mains or rares or anything, just enough to get them started.

I played it 1-2 years ago. I was centauri. We also had some long games ; once 1 turn took over 30min - intrigue at its best :)

Havent played it for a while because most went to army. Good game. I cant trade or sell it because i also will go to army in this summer but i'll recomend to buy main starter deck and a couple of boosters. Ebay is one way to buy if you dont have others ways (gaming store etc.).
 
I still play this game a lot with a group of friends.
You can still buy cards for this game, best and cheapest are Potomac Distribution: www.potomacdist.com/ where you get 2 player starter boxes and booster boxes from $7.
 
I recently purchased this game to try it out - seems quite good but I haven't had much chance to play it yet.

A good place to get more cards is from EBay - I bought quite a few from there for good prices :)
 
Fah, do not bother forking over any money. I will gladly donate some free cards. PM or something on how you want the cards sent, if you have any specific card preferences, etc.

I found a box of the Precedence Babylon 5 Collectible Card Premiere Edition Game cards yesterday (ISBN 1-885681-86-0 on the box bottom). It has two sets of game rules (one with Delenn and Sinclair on the cover and one with Londo & G'Kar on the cover) and two copies of the "Tips" page with "Galactic Politics" grid on the back, and the following 216 cards (sorted by Below, then Above. Let me know if you want to see them sorted the other way. I typed it all into Excel, so that's easy.):

Heh, I just told my husband what I did and he is looking forward to reading these things too. However, he did say that I am getting harder and harder to shop for since I buy everything I want. :devil:

I do the same thing, buy when I come across something. If I don't, I usually can't find it again. *shrug*
 
Wheeee! ^_^ I love that game though I haven't had a chance to play in years. I still have the cards (and keep shipping them with me whenever I move) and coincedentally we were just talking about the good times with old games last night. Need to find more North-east Ohio players ...
 
What we SHOULD do is try to find someway to play over the web. That way we aren't limited to geographical concerns. Ideas anyone?

I don't actually have any ideas, but hell... Here in Finland, I think that me and my little brother are the only ones who even know that there is such game. So if you're up for really good ideas. Just pm me and I'm in. :cool:
 
Has anyone heard of Cardtable? It's a program that lets you play almost any card game over the internet. they don't have Babylon 5 available yet, but since it's all fan-based and free, maybe we could create it ourselves. b5ccg.mahasamatman.com has all the images of cards still available, so that won't be a problem.
