Knowing that more-or-less the same has been happening for several billion years, doesn't make it any bit less frustrating. Only more.

Your completely right we should finish up work on that time machine and go back and bring them to the present.

If you don't like time travel there is always the option to bring the cast back as Zonbies.

As for the Death of Dr. Kyle. Its to bad they never found a way to bring him back for and ep after the gathering. He seemed like a good man.

It wasn't a question of finding a way to bring him back. According to JMS' post on this The Gathering may well have been the last acting work he did before he retired due to his health, which was already fragile even back in 1993 when The Gathering was filmed.
