It looks like a rehash of Chris Morris's superb 'The Day Today'

Tha Day Today was indeed fantastic, and Broken News is a very worthy successor to that program. The channel flipping format is the main distinction from TDT, and is very amusing (especiialy the very short snippets that seem to be of articles covering the short attention spans people have nowadays, lovely bit of irony). Other than that, a lot of similarity to TDT in style and the kinds of things it takes shots at, but with additional stuff for the newer aspects of news reporting (SMS message polls, scrolling text bars all over the place, etc.) that weren't around when TDT was on.

And CC is great on it.
