I saw this over at the moderated group. Oh, what a probably-bad-idea. :eek:

But, who knows? Battlestar Gallactica seemed like a probably-bad-idea to me at the time, and it's blown people away. :)

I hope it'll be good, but seeing that Sky One is involved doesn't really help me. Still, I believe the dvds are out these days, s I may settle for that.

I'd heard rumors about this. Of course, a decade or so ago, McGoohan himself was supposed to be involved in a Prisoner feature film, so I tend to discount rumors, but this seems real.

I'd love to see it done right, and Eccleston would be a reasonable choice. I'd rather see Clive Owen, but he's too big-time now. They might have more latitude in doing it for TV these days, than back in 1967. I'll remain hopeful, until I have reason not to be...
