When Franklin and Marcus meet #2 in the Mars Resistance (Racing Mars), he seems not to be aware of the Anla'shok, even though Lyta had the assistance of a Ranger in Divided Loyalties. The dialogue is terrific, but It just seemed strange that the only Rangers #2 knew about were the comrades of Chuck Norris.

The Mars resistance was isolated, insular. They weren't much concerned about off-world happenings. They were too busy fighting their own war. If they had been familiar with any Rangers, say had a liason officer, you would think that that Ranger would have introduced Franklin and Marcus, to vouch for them, and helped them while they were on Mars. The Rangers may have had someone watching the Mars resistance, but probably considered them of little immediate value in opposing the Shadows.
