Looking for title of a Cheesy Pay Channel Series

Sindatur

Regular
Hey all, Several Years back, one of the Pay channels (HBO, I think, but, maybe Showtime or Cinemax) had a "Middle of the Night" TV series (Probably could be considered Soft Core Porn almost) about a Hotel in the Desert and the lives of the young characters that worked there. I think it was basically about getting laid for the most part. The Theme song contained the words "Randy Man"

Anyone remeber the name of it? I'm thinking it's got something to do with Desert or Palm (maybe even Pals Springs?) or something. Someone asked me the name of it, and I can't really remember anything more than this. It was airing at about the same time Oz was on, I think.

I used some of your description and looked it up on this thing called the Internet.

Hot Springs Hotel

Originally on: Showtime (26 min.)
Status: Ended
Premiered: January 1, 1998
Last Aired: January 1, 1998
Show Category: Comedy

Hoping to revive a dilapidated hotel in the desert, siblings Kat and Randy unknowingly discover that their hotel is actually an erotic oasis for its guests (and staff). Hot Springs Hotel is a playful resort that caters to young, attractive, and amorous visitors. This Showtime comedy is bound to encourage viewers to desire to make a reservation for the Hot Springs Hotel.

LOL, how did you find it? I googled theme song lyrics and only got current shows accessed.

Didn't know what site to use to feed a description into. That sounds like it, thanks.

I went to Yahoo (I don't Google, I'm old school) and typed in:

HBO series Desert Hotel

Scanned the hits and the rest is history. Had a close call with another soft-core Showtime show called "Hotel Erotica" though, before finding the right one.

I see it was not exactly a long-running show.

Yea, it seems like it was less than 10 over the course of 2 seasons, maybe (That start and end date both being the same day isn't quite right. I personally only saw about half of one episode, but, someone asked me about it, and I couldn't find it for them.

Thanks B5O
