Gideon: I thought you said you don't hold a grudge?
Galen: I don't, I have no surviving enemies, at all.

It was great to see what the cast-members look like. Too bad Andreas wasn't there, though!

Heh, I was thinking of posting my pictures here but it looks like someone beat me to it.

I actually improved the pictures so that they are not so dark so if you didn't like them before, try looking again.

PS: I am not a bastard but you can call me a bitch if you want to ... just do so nicely.

I sorta think that discussion about the first up-to-date pictures of many of the Rangers cast members is very much on topic in the Rangers forum.

Well, now that the moderators have taken the effort to move this back, I really think owe it to them to discuss the subject. So, looking at the pictures, my immediate thoughts were:

Myriam Sirois is kewt.

Gus Lynch is big.

Anybody else?

I think the cast-members all look so *young*! That's my comment.

Also, thanks to Monica ("Lyta") for putting the pictures up! I printed out some of the pictures & will be taking them to AgamemCon in Los Angeles next week. I'm sure they will be popular with the convention-goers!

I like (and agree with) your comments.

Myriam was so bubbly and nice which makes her all that more attractive. I also saw a scene where she runs across the bridge and dives into some sort of a shaft/tunnel which was amazing.

Gus is big because ... well, he is a Drazi whose truth is that he "lifts heavy things". I also realized that I never did get a good picture of him which is a shame.

I thought Alex was awfully sweet and genuine (possibly a close favorite behind Warren). He personally thanked and shook the hand of a gentleman who provided some magazines that were used as door prizes and given to the cast as well. I believe the mag featured an article about the show.

Warren is my personal favorite at this time. It may have been because I spent the most time talking with him and our common heritage. Also, I thought it was so cute when he got embarrassed when I told him that he was quite attractive.

Enid Ray is a whacky gal and I really loved her quirkiness. She said that her personality is pretty different than her charactor's which was surprizing since most of the other actors fit their charactor's personality pretty well.

Dean was a charmer and definately single. He was flirting with most of the cast which I found quite amusing. He is so not the type I go for so I will have to see how his charactor is portrayed before I make a final decision.

Jennie was awfully quiet through most of the event (although I think I captured a glimpse of her personality in my photo) and I think it may be attributed to being so new to whole thing.

I know that this is pretty long but hopefully that was what you were after.

I have to agree with you there as well Tammy. Not only "young" in age/looks but I think in experience as well. Alex seemed about the only one who talked about past work experiences. I don't think that the "youngness" of the gang will hinder them in any way since I think JMS has a knack for casting the right people for the right job.

They all commented on how easy it was to work together and that it felt like they had been friends for a long time. That kind of work relationship will show up on screen and I am really looking forward to that.

No problem! I just wish that other people will share their photos as well. I know I saw lots of digital cameras so maybe they are just slower than I am at getting them online.

PS: I am sure you don't need to be reminded, but I have to say it just in case ... please give me the credit if you use any of my photos (either online or otherwise).

Thanks for the memories. Being 'photographically challenged'

I didn't even bother to bring a camera. It truly was a great time and your comments are just bang on!! Having never been to convention at which JMS was a guest I was kinda 'star-struck'; it's just amazing how much flies out of your brain under those circumstances. You did a great job with your pics. and reconsstructing the 'feel' of the evening thru them. Thanks again. Perhaps we can meet at some future Gathering.

Thanks terrytvgal for the comments! I tried my best to remember as much as possible and I am glad so many people are enjoying the pictures.

I have only been to one convention that JMS attended and I think this Gathering was much better. It was intimate, laid back, and it had a great buzz of excitement. I think we got a lot more goodies and respect than we probably would have if it had been a convention.

I hope I will meet more fellow fans at the next Gathering and would happy to say hi!

Monica, since my printouts are screen-captures, it says "Monica Hubinette--Photos" on each one, so you *do* get credit! I also plan to give them the URL of your page if they want it.

Thanks for clarifying Tammy.

I hate to even mention it but things like that have happened to me in the past.

Also, in case anyone missed it, but there are a few more pictures that John Francis (one of the guys who organized the Gathering) and a detailed report up now. Sounds like it is a preliminary report so watch for more to come.

Monica..thank you!
I've been to many cons and used my memory of the feel of it to augment what was in the picture.
I've been in a crowd of fans when JMS has been there and it is really more thrilling seeing the fans greet him than actually seeing him!
I'm glad you got a chance to see the entire 5 Season Gag reel! It's a riot!

Small note about Andreas, he is rather shy about attending cons so it's a rare privelege to be able to see him in person.

Thanks again for the photos, it's almost like being there.

I am not sure if I understand you correctly but it sounds like you thought Andreas attended the Gathering. Unfortunately, he did not attend (and thus did not get any pictures) which was too bad. However, I think that since everyone was so thrilled to meet most of the cast, we were not too disappointed.

PS: Regarding the photos ... You are welcome!
