'Cause And Effect' from Season 5 of TNG is one of his, and it is excellent! He also did Season 7's 'Parallels' with Worf moving from one alternate reality to another. Not to mention co-writing TNG movie 'First Contact'. Even some of his Voyager stuff was good, like 'Scorpion Pt 1'.

Worst that I've seen - I hated the final episode of DS9 - what an anti-climax. Best that I've seen - the final episode of Blake's 7 - bleak, depressing and true to the spirit of the show. SHocked the hell out of me first time I saw it.

I also agree that the probe plot was OK but not great. Still, a C for B5 is probably a B for most any other series.
