So, after all these years since ST:TMP appeared (1977?), how about revisiting the Trek movies? Any favorites, least favorites or just awful ones? I guess I pretty much enjoyed all of them, for varying reasons. Most of the time, it felt like being with old friends again watching I through VI...

When should a newbie watch \"In the Beginning\"? I have a friend who saw "some" of the B5 show years ago and I just sent her an extra set of the DVD seasons, including the first DVD, "The Gathering"/"In the Beginning". I want to tell her when to watch ItB.

I saw The Punisher movie yesterday and, from certain angles, the actor who played the title character (Tom Jane?) looked a lot like a young James T. Kirk. I wouldn't mind seeing a prequel-type movie as him playing Kirk. Cool. :cool:

I ordered "The Dream Team" DVD because I remembered that I saw that movie a long time ago, and that I liked it. So, when it arrived, much to my surprise there was Vir on the cover! I'm sure when I had originally watched it years ago, I had no idea who he was. I recommend this movie to others...

I don't know how many people watched that show, or even know what it is, but I'm thrilled. It's one of my top 10 shows, and one of only 4-5 shows on DVD that I am or will be buying. I'll be enjoying these shows while waiting for B5 S2 and DS9 S3. :)

In a previous post, someone mentioned the character changes in TNG, DS9 and VOY. I agree that some or most of the characters in DS9 grew, and some also in VOY (except for Chakotay, whom they completely ignored!). Does anybody think that characters in TNG grew and, if so, how?
