Do you mean the second half of what I would call Magician was extended or did you also get extended version of Silverthorn and A Darkness At Sethanon :confused: The latter two were never available as extended editions in the UK.

I also should ask which version of the book you read.I know of three versions,the original,an extended version with various parts deleted out of the original in order to reduce the amount of pages (I hate it when they do that) and a "rewritten" version that has a fair bit of the extras in from...

I quite enjoyed my first reading of Magician although I was only 15 at the time.I think it helped that the book came out in one volume over here which helped with the break in character devolopement as we didn't need to wait for a new book to see what was going on. As for further explainations...

I quite liked all the movies with the exception of LOTR which was mediocre. My favourite film tends to change with my mood but In the Beginning and Thirdspace are probably my favourites more often :thumbsup:

Been reading the Legends of Dune trilogy.Surprised that I'm actually enjoying them so much as I originally gave up on Dune after reading God Emperor of Dune.Not sure if it's because of the different authors or the fact that I've not read any Dune in about 20 years but a thousand pages in three...
