Re: New desktop picture at scifi.com

Actually, there is a reason why the jump points look different for Rangers. ACtA and B5 both used LightWave for their CGI effects. Rangers uses Maya, which doesn't have the same procedural textures...

Re: Sci-Fi Chan going under?

Whoever got that information, it's completely false. SCIFI has been getting some very impressive ratings, and has actually done quite well for itself despite the slump in advertising. Farscape has...

1. It will be Maya.

2. I'm sure that Slade can answer this more fully, but I don't believe any major changes will be made. (Although they may have updated some of the textures - remember, many of...

Re: Is the SF media ignoring RANGERS?

I can say this: there is 110% support for Babylon 5 and SciFi. There are a lot of people excited about Rangers over there, and they're not about to be stingy with the promotion - they just want to do...

Re: Waiting on the rating

Filming an episode takes about 7 days. (Season 5 switched to a 6 day/episode schedule, but it was too hectic and CRUSADE returned to the 7 day schedule.)

However, that doesn't include the time...

I doubt that WHOIS information would allow for any lawsuits - Russia has *no* form of contract law. (Well, unless you count Mob contracts, in which case the Russian contract is quite efficient...)

There could not have been a picture of the ship, because the ship has only recently been modeled in CGI. The designs are finalized, but the long process of animating and rendering the effects and...
