I'm sorry that I have to be on the anti-series finale team, but it's obvious that "God did it !" is the most rediculous way to end a story. I suspect that RDM never knew where his show was going and he came with the "God" soulution, because he was unable to explain most of the nonsense he had...

I think that no TV show (Sci-Fi or not) should ever end in a "God behind it all", simply because a big percentage of its viewers may not be religious at all (including me) and such an ending may seem like a huge betrayal of their trust in the series. People always expect to see reasonable...

I agree. I don't mind listening about the Cylon God or the Lords of Kobol in almost every episode, but I think that RDM cheated the viewers of his show by creating so many mysteries and resolving them with one EXTREMELY DUMB answer - "God did it !" It's just the lamest explanation ever...

This was the worst TV series conlusion EVER!!! :eek: I want my money back, Ron Moore. :scream: And since when Sci-Fi shows explain their mysteries with God. :wtf:

Exactly. It looks like the personality of each character changes every week depending on the episode. The best example of that is Chief Tyrol - one week he hates the cylons and wants to stay on Galactica, the next week he makes a 180 degree turn and starts making plans to leave with the Final...

Honestly, I was a little surprised how many people of Galactica's crew volunteered for the rescue mission. After all Hera is a half-cylon child and the natural human reaction is expected to be something like "I don't care about that toaster" or "Why should we risk everything for a single child...

Interesting statement. So he just decided to include the 13th Cylon in the final episodes of the final season for no significant reason. :wtf:

All of us say so now but I'm sure that in one year we will all be here again discussing "Caprica". :) We are just too interested in Sci-Fi to reject an entire show completely and the competition in the genre is not that much. Of course it will be a GIANT marketing mistake if RDM doesn't...

I agree. And what exactly does BSG have to do with 21st century geopolitical issues. There are certainly more serious movies or documentaries, which really deserve that kind of recognition.

That's exactly what I meant when I said rip-off. Unfortunately writers in Hollywood are not very well protected from such things. Even if you patent your idea there will always be someone to change a few names and present it as an original idea. In this case they didn't even bother to change...
