With the exception of the first episodes with the Pegasus, they've always used a score with a celtic hint to it. I think these episodes did a great job of setting up the rest of the season. Starbuck having to deal with the incredible mind fuck she has just been dealt, Tigh having to live...

Technically, it DID air on NBC. If I am remembering right, they aired the mini series around the time season one started airing on SciFi. However, it was shown on a Saturday afternoon. So it really wasn't anything more than an afterthought to them.

I just finished License to Kill by Robert Young Pelton. It is about the rise of corporate security firms lke HART, Blackwater, Executive Outcomes, Sandline and Aegis. I can't recommend it enough.
