Certainly, Crusade didn't reach enough of its audience, which is too bad. But I can't imagine it is high on anyone's list at this point. Maybe if a true reboot of the original series makes it to the small screen...

Out of curiosity, where does the story stop?

Interestingly, I am browsing some of the old Dark Shadows recently. It is on Tubi streaming channel for free.

Good point. Moved. I haven't seen it yet but it looks like it is going to be quite an eyeful. However, as it is planned to be a multi-film storyline, I believe we only get a portion of story in the book Dune which will likely end with a cliffhanger until the 2nd film comes out.
