I thought it was, but for the reason hyp gave, I was not 100% sure. And decided that going by nick was less potentially embarrasing than going by someone else's name :D

They did a great job at updating it, IMO, while staying quite true to the characterizations and the feel of the original material. I especially approve of how they did Watson - in so many adaptations, he's reduced to a bumbling fool whose primarily purpose is to make Sherlock look awesome in...

Has anyone else been following this series? I'm generally not much of a fan of modern adaptations of classics, but I've been greatly enjoying this show (if a 3-part miniseries can be called a "show" - am hoping for more, though. And with 1 1/2 episodes, having only 3 episodes isn't that bad)...

Angel's ending .. uh .. it's hard to say a thing about it without giving anything away. Let's just say the show ended on a bang, and the fanbase was massively split. Personally, I loved it.

Just in case you've given up on Angel, I'd really recommend watching season 5. It takes the show in a completely different direction from season 4, and is at times pretty damned cool in a "none of this makes sense" manner.
