Don't get me wrong, I didn't go in expecting something typical JMS. I knew I was in for popcorn. But this movie was so dumb and the action so outlandish or dull most of the time I didn't enjoy much.

Has anybody else seen this? I thought a JMS-written ninja movie could only be awesome, but boy was I wrong. One of the dumbest movies I've seen latetly. Granted, he was only hired to do a rewrite so I'm sure he was working under strict guidelines, but holy crap was that script terrible.

Looks like I'm in the minority here. I'm pretty pissed off. This show may have been a character driven mystery, but it was still a mystery. They broke the cardinal rule of a mystery: they didn't solve the mystery!!!!! We still don't know what the island is, what smokey is and what he will do if...

I don't know about everyone else, but I loved last night's episode. Last week's was such a disappointment after the awesomeness of the Richard episode, but this week they were back on their game. I've been waiting for the "sideways" timeline to merge with the real timeline. I knew this was going...

If I wasn't almost done with this viewing, I might boost my center channel up. I already took the subwoofer way way way down (not for B5, just in general). My Sony 5.1 set also had a mic to autobalance, but I found the autobalance had the subwoofer way too powerful. I hate walls and floors...

I don't know why I didn't notice this the first time around with the DVD sets, but this time around I've noticed how horrible the sound mix is on the DVDs. The music overpowers the dialogue way too much, to the point that sometimes the dialogue is unintelligible. I'm not an audiophile, though...

I have to disagree with you there. Although I agree it didn't really get back to the level of greatness with the arc stories until halfway through the season, I think it was on top of its game with the non-arc episodes "The Long Night of Londo Mollari" and "A View From the Gallery."

I have mixed feelings on the Byron arc. I liked Byron okay most of the time, but I didn't like how he could seem so ungrateful. For example, when Sheridan and Lochley stick their necks out for them, he thanks them, but doesn't seem very thankful. That always bothered me. The other teeps were...

I had the second half and the last 2 books as extended editions...thought he last two books weren't very long so I can't imagine what could have been extended...well, okay, I can imagine some things, but that's for the NC-17 forum...

For Apprentice I had an original (so original the cover soon feel apart). The rest I had the extended editions.
